Fun fact: As of 2009 Bathurst 1000 patrons had a draconian alcohol-limit imposed on them.
24 Full-strength beers, per day, per person
Or 36 light or mid strength, pd, pp
Or 4 litres of wine, pd, pp
So, 9 litres of beer @ 4.9%ABV= ~440ml of ethanol.....
One more thing... How do you go about posting tips these days?

24 seems like a pretty good amount in a day but how do they enforce it?

Yes.. Draconic... Sure. Bloody aussies.

They usually check you as you enter the campsite precincts. However it is not uncommon at all for people to bury beer for days prior...

24 cans per day. This is some serious drinking. How much is in a beer? Here we go in ounces and most common is 12 oz.

375 mls. So just over 12 of your ounces. Of VB usually, which is 4.9% ABV, or 1.4 standard drinks. It is a restriction for someone, I just haven't met this someone yet.

You can post tips in Oppo with a tips tag. Raphael and the other editors keep an eye out on here for them. As do I for the best of Oppo. Otherwise you can email them in too; tips@jalopnik.com , IIRC.
